Neurology Consultation
What to Expect at Your Consultation
This visit is intended to provide a thorough neurological or neuromuscular evaluation. Patients and referring providers can expect a structured review of symptoms, prior records, examination findings, and any next diagnostic or treatment steps.

Visit Structure
How the Evaluation Is Conducted
The consultation is diagnostic in focus. It is designed to clarify symptoms, assess neurological function, and determine whether additional testing, treatment, or specialty follow-up is appropriate.
Before the Visit
Please complete the medical questionnaire and bring prior records, MRI or CT reports, outside test results, and a current medication list.
During the Visit
The appointment includes a detailed questionnaire review, interview, and physical examination. Dr. Lopez evaluates symptoms, prior care, and available records as part of the diagnostic assessment.
Testing and Treatment
If indicated, Dr. Lopez may recommend laboratory studies, MRI, EMG/NCS testing, medications, or additional consultations.
Supportive Care
When appropriate, the care plan may also include diet, physical therapy, massage therapy, chiropractic care, acupuncture, and exercise.
After the Consultation
Clinical Follow-Up
Before you leave, staff will arrange follow-up with Dr. Lopez. Results are reviewed during follow-up visits, and the office will contact patients directly if significant abnormalities require prompt attention.
Provider Communication
A full report is faxed to the referring physician after each visit so that care remains coordinated and documented.
